Subscription-dog service BarkBox is holding its second annual BarkFest this Sunday and it looks like it is going to be bigger and better than ever, with a lot of activities to make you and your dog happy.

The festivities kick off at 2 p.m. and continue until 9 p.m. in Williamsburg next to the waterfront. Dogs get to test their skills at an agility course, splash around in kiddie pools, participate in a hot dog eating contest and relax on cooling mats, to name just a few of the fun things pups get to enjoy.

For us owners, we can sip delicious beverages in the beer garden, enjoy tasty snacks from a number of food trucks and slap some dog tats on our bodies, all while watching our loves living it up with their four-legged buds. Famous dogs will also be making an appearance. Marni, Menswear Dog and Doug the Pug, are just a few pups that will be strutting their stuff.

People will also have the opportunity to help a good cause: Foster Dogs NYC, an organization that helps animal rescuers find temporary homes for their available dogs. Barkfest will be holding raffles throughout the day to help raise money for the nonprofit. Some of the prizes include a one-year subscription to Blue Apron, a West Elm sleeper set and a Madewell leather tote. Oh, and there will be dogs available for adoption.

Other activities occurring at BarkFest are a place to doodle your dog , caricature art, photo booth and build your own BarkBox. BarkFest will end with a dog-friendly fireworks show, meaning LED lights in the sky put on by Voyce.

The event is free and open to the public and is located at 50 Kent in Williamsburg. For more information head over to BarkBox’s BarkLive events page.
