Supermodel Dog to Host Ritz Carlton ‘Yappy Hour’ in Manhattan

A dog dressed in a pink dress sits on a glass table next to a pot of grass at the Ritz Carlton during Yappy Hour.

When she isn’t striking a pose for Ralph Lauren, starring in music videos or stealing the show in Gypsy on Broadway, Tinkerbelle, a papillion and maltese mix, is entertaining guests at the Ritz Carlton. Oh, the life.

This Thursday the supermodel dog will be co-hosting a swanky “yappy hour” at The Ritz Carlton in Battery Park from 5 pm to 8 pm.  Dogs and their owners will be living in the lap of luxury as the pups, well, lap up flavored doggie water and enjoy treats while humans get to nosh on some yummy snacks. The hotel will be featuring “pawsitively” delicious cheeseburger sliders for $13, Fido’s favorite BBQ beef brisket nachos for $14 and “dog-gone good” hummus for $10, among other goodies. There will also be a fully stocked bar offering cocktails, beer and wine.

The hotel will also have a DJ spinning some tunes, natural doggy treats for your pups, luxury dog beds from LazyBonezz for the four-legged attendees to use, gift cards from Ready-to-Wag and discounts and coupons for vet visits from Dr.Cindy Bressler. The yappy hour is the perfect time to meet new friends, try new food and enjoy the last days of summer. And the host couldn’t be more excited.

“Tinkerbelle is a fashionista and is excited about wearing a special dress custom made for her Yappy Hour this month,” says her owner Sam Carrell. “She is also excited to snack on Ritz Carlton blueberry treats with her new friends and dance to the fun music!”
Last month’s event was hosted by the adorable Chloe the mini Frenchie and was a success. The hotel anticipated 30 to 50 people attending and about 100 showed up.

The event will take place at the luxury hotel chain’s Battery Park location at 2 West Street in Manhattan on its outdoor plaza.
