It’s part of the deal: dog poop. We cheer our buddies on to do their business and then dutifully pick it up and carry it until we find our trusty friend, the garbage can.
But how much do our four-legged friends actually poop? Well, dog walker and sitting company Rover got the scoop on our dog’s poop. The company looked at its 200,000 dog walkers who pick up our dog’s business every day while out for walks and found some interesting facts.
In terms of cities with the most poop, Seattle tops the list, followed by Chicago and Denver.

As for how much dog poop each canine produces, Rover puts it at around 274 pounds every year! The company states that most dogs like to do their business at 7 am, but for the New York City and L.A. four-legged residents, the time is 5 am.
The dog breeds who could take home the award for biggest poops, well, that goes to the Korean Mastiff.
