How You Can Help Animals Impacted by the Los Angeles Fires

Share
A firefighter in uniform, taking a moment during the intense Los Angeles fires, kneels to gently pet a German Shepherd near a fire truck—a testament to their commitment to help animals even amidst chaos.

The recent wildfires in Los Angeles have been devastating, with over 36,000 acres burned, at least 16 lives lost, and more than 150,000 people displaced, at time of publication. These fires have also severely impacted animals, with shelters like Pasadena Humane taking in hundreds of displaced pets, many suffering from burns and dehydration.

While we know people need immense support right now, as a dog-focused community, we want to make sure the animals impacted by this tragedy aren’t forgotten.

From pets displaced from their families to wildlife affected by the destruction, there are so many animals in need.

Below, you’ll find a list of organizations working tirelessly to help and how you can support them.
