Anyone who has adopted a shelter dog knows they rescue you as much as you rescue them.
From their unconditional to their fierce loyalty, dogs know when they are saved and will pay people back in spades.
With today being National Dog Day, we wanted to share a few pictures showing the special bond that begins when people walk into a shelter and adopt a dog. Enjoy and then go give your dog a big kiss to show your appreciation.
