Brazil may be the most creative country when it comes to raising awareness about animal welfare issues.
Recently, the country pulled a switch-a-roo at a pet store, replacing all animals with those needing to be adopted. And now the country is looking to help dogs get adopted by having them show off their artistic side.

In a video, put on by Canismo, an art campaign in Brazil, shelter pups are seen shaking off paint (yes, it is pet-friendly) onto brightly covered canvases to create 18 pieces of artwork.
“The shake of the paint reveals a remarkable exercise of freedom, where each drop of ink bears the stain of prejudice. The combination of different colors in the paintings shows the mixture of breeds, as random and as beautiful as each mongrel dog,” the online description states. The art will be sold and will benefit the Procure1Amigo shelter.
