How to Prevent the 4.5 MILLION Dog Bites That Occur Every Year (Infographic)

While having a dog can bring a lot of joy to your life, you still run the risk of having your pup snap at you or others.

Indeed, 4.5 million dog bites occur a year, with approximately 27,000 having to endure reconstructive surgery and on average costing $28,035 for insurers for a dog bit claim, according to the American Veterinary Medical Association.
