Animal Haven Hosts Intimate Dinner Party With Celebs to Raise Awareness

Animal Haven pulled out all the stops at recent benefit.

The New York City-based no-kill shelter held an exclusive event at the penthouse of 10 Sullivan, a luxury residential building in Manhattan’s SoHo neighborhood.

Real-estate broker Jason Seligman of Douglas Elliman and his client Property Markets Group hosted the 50-person private party. Seligman, who sits on the advisory board of Animal Haven, came up with the concept as a way to raise awareness for the nonprofit, while also promoting the penthouse property.

The event was invite-only with a number of high-profile guests in attendance including Ashley Olsen, Nicky Hilton, Edie Franco, producer Fabiola Beracasa-Beckman, designer Stacey Bendet of Alice + Olivia and Jason Biggs. Instagram-famous dog Toast Meets World was also in attendance along with a number of adorable dogs and cats available for adoption.

While guests got to take in the beautiful scenery, enjoy a delicious dinner and chat with friends, the goal of the event was to raise awareness about Animal Haven, with the nonprofit’s executive director Tiffany Lacey, telling us she was ecstatic welcoming “all the incredible new supporters to our cause.”
