In the shootout against Sweden during the Olympics, Christen Press missed the final penalty kick, sending the U.S. women’s team home. Thankfully, there was some pups to cheer her up.
Press, a PETA ambassador and an avid dog lover, having a few at her home, including Morena, who her family rescued from an Oakland recycling center, was feeling the pain after the game. Despite the final score hardly being her fault, it would be hard to be the last kicker. Well, to help comfort Press, the internet shared a bunch of dog pictures using the hashtag #DogsForChristen.
