Dog lovers may not have heard of Elias Friedman, but we guarantee almost everyone has heard of The Dogist, his Instagram account where he posts his signature-style photos of dogs on the streets.

Having photographed more than 8,000 dogs and posting 3,000 to his Instagram account, Friedman has quite a following. Indeed, to date, The Dogist has more than 1.3 million dog enthusiasts “hearting,” sharing and commenting on his photos.
