In news of the weird, a man is said to have seen a Sasquatch and his tiny pup scared the creature away.
Eric Walters and his dog were staying in a cabin in the Blue Ridge Mountains when at first he thought he saw a bear.
“Our neighbors told us there was some bear activity and to be cautious,” the North Carolina man told WBTV. “So, when walked the trails I’ve kept my Yorkie, Zippy very close.”
Walters began capturing the encounter on video but soon realized the animal was not what he expected.

“I quickly realized it was not a bear, but a Sasquatch,” Walters said. “Zippy could tell I was scared and got so riled up that he got loose and went after it.”
After Zippy begins barking, the footage shows the creature getting spooked and retreating. Walters realizes that he may have dodged a bullet because of Zippy and “loves him more than ever.”
“Yorkies are small in size, but bigger than even a Sasquatch in heart.”
