A bargain can make the chore of shopping for clothes so much more fun. And fortunately for dog lovers, it can also help save a pup’s life.
Next week, Los Angeles-based animal welfare organization Wags and Walks will be participating in its first ever sample sale.
Occurring at the California Market Center on July 29, more than 30 designers will be partaking in the event — including Fidelity Jeans, Eberjey and Kitsch — and be offering major discounts on products. The event kicks off at 10 am and goes until 6 pm. The fee to enter is $5, which will be donated to Wags & Walks, along with 5 percent of sales from each booth.

The money will be used towards the many dogs in Wags and Walks care and will help pay for medical bills, training and foster care.
Besides amazing steals, there will be refreshments and adorable adoptable dogs looking for their forever home. The address is 110 E 9th Street in the Penthouse Space.

If online shopping is more your thing (and you want to avoid the sample sale crowds), Wags and Walks is also hosting an intimate “Canine and Wine” on July 31 from 4-6 pm.
Held at Pussy & Pooch in Beverly Hills, trainer Ashlee Pierce will be present to discuss the benefits of fitness training with your dog. There will be wine served, along with light hors d’oeuvres.
The address is 9388 South Santa Monica Blvd., and the cost is $10.
