In a new PETA campaign, celebs came out to speak out against keeping dogs outside.
Tom Hardy, Edie Falco, Bill Maher, Casey Affleck and Priyanka Chopra, among others are part of a video to shine light on neglected dogs who spend their entire life at the end of a chain.
In the clip, the various celebs are not shown, but rather voice the thoughts of these “forgotten dogs.”

“When you first got me, did you know that you were going to chain me up and leave me outside? Even in the cold and snow?” Tom Hardy says.
“Did you know I would long for a warm, dry place to sleep? And that I would be all alone, all the time?” Bill Maher says.
Affleck asks, “Did you know that you would leave me to fend for myself, even when it was pouring down raining and I had no way of keeping dry?“Did you know that you would never even touch me even when all I wanted was to be petted?”

“We can only guess just how confused “outdoor dogs” would question their guardians if they were able to speak our language. Instead, they show their pain, fear, hunger, stress, and overall discomfort by shaking, jumping, barking, trembling, or—tragically—completely shutting down,” PETA writes in a statement.
The end of the video, again featured Hardy, with him asking, “If you did, then why did you get me at all?” followed by them message: “Treat dogs like family. Let them live indoors this winter.”
