The Today Show Gets a New Co-Host

The Today Show just added a new addition to the family: a 10-week-old yellow Labrador retriever.

The crew, along with other staff members and a professional dog handler, are tasked with training the pup to become a guide dog for the blind through the New York nonprofit organization, Guiding Eyes for the Blind.

If the team does their job, Wrangler (a name voted on by fans) should be ready to graduate in 16 months. The trained dog will then get adopted out free of charge to a person that is either blind or visually impaired.
