It was love at first site when Japan resident Cao picked out Dada from a litter of pups.

“She was really tiny, and I was speechless at her cuteness,” he says.

Deciding to capture her adorable features and share her cute antics with the world, Dada set up a Instagram account 3 years ago, when his long-haired Chihuahua was hitting her stride at the age of six.

Capturing her every move — from her stylish looks to her quirky expressions and her everyday shenanigans — Dada has definitely captured the attention of people all around the world. To date, the Instagram account Dog_Dada has more than 165,000 followers, a number most of us will never hit. She has also been featured on TODAY, Harper’s Bazaar and Glamour, among others.

“I’m so happy to receive comments and likes from my followers on Instagram and Facebook — that’s why I love to post my dog’s pictures,” says Cao.

Now the pint-size celebrity pup is taking her social-media fame one step further and has released a book, A Little Happiness. Besides featuring in-print photos from her Instagram account, the book also has 100 additional pics along with stories and captions in both English and Japanese. The book will set you back $13, which is a steal. And for every book purchased, part of the proceeds will be donated to animal welfare groups.
