Shelter Dogs Recreate Famous Magazine Covers in Hopes of Being Adopted

Dogs are striking a pose in hopes of getting adopted.

Polish advertising agency Ostrosiostro took a refreshing approach in trying to help shelter dogs find forever homes: It had pups recreate 25 famous fashion magazine covers. The photo series shows homeless dogs posing as Sarah Jessica Parker, Audrey Hepburn and George Clooney, to name a few.

“Fashion and celebrities define beauty. We wanted to take a little bit of that and change people’s perspective on shelter animals,” the agency said.

The company put the made over dogs on the popular dating website Tinder, with many people swiping right to learn more about the campaign. The agency also took to a Polish crowdfunding platform where fans can buy t-shirts and calendars featuring the photos. Proceeds raised are helping 16 animal shelters in Poland. To date, more than 70 percent of the dogs in the campaign have found a new home.
