A dog found high on meth and heroin is back to being a puppy.
Named Bubba, the terrier mix was found with his owner, Joshua West, in a hotel room in Tustin, California this past March high on drugs.
Police arrested West for drug possession and animal cruelty.
“This strikes me as pretty horrible,” Tustin police Lt. Robert Wright told CBS Los Angeles. “This is the first time we’ve ever heard of someone reporting that an animal has been under the influence.”

Bubba, who was lethargic was taken to OC Animal Care where he had to detox.
Now, after getting all the drugs out of his system, Bubba is back to being an everyday dog, enjoying Bella rubs, playing and running.
“I would say looking at his video today, his prognosis is excellent,” veterinarian Matthew Wheaton at the Alicia Pet Care Center in Orange told the station. “I think that if he can avoid being exposed to additional drugs in the future with his new forever home, things are going to be perfectly fine.”
