For New Yorkers looking to add a four-legged friend to their family, an upcoming mega-adoption event will provide the perfect chance.

Occurring during the weekend of June 2-4, Best Friends Animal Society is holding its Super Adoption event, in conjunction with 30 local rescue groups.

Featuring more than 550 dogs, cats and rabbits, potential adopters will for sure find their special friend.

Celebs will be lending their voice to the event, with Holly Taylor (The Americans), Andy Karl (Broadway star), Debra Monk (Mozart in the Jungle) and Maggie Geha (Gotham) expected to attend.

All pets adopted at the event are spayed or neutered, received wellness checks, microchipped and vaccinated. Everyone who brings home an animal that day will also receive a goody bag.

If you are looking to bring home a dog, or other animal that day, come prepared. All family members (including other animals) should be at the event. Also, renters bring paperwork from your landlord stating animals are allowed. Adopters will also need a valid ID and be prepared to pay the adoption fee, ranging from $25-$400. (Keep in mind, some groups require home visits before adopting an animal.)
