Brother and sister pups get together every year to celebrate their special day.
Two years ago, a golden-colored dog named Sophie was dumped at a shelter. The staff had to not only worry about finding her a home, but also all the puppies she was carrying inside her.
Fortunately, a woman rescued Sophie and helped raise her puppies until they were ready to go out on their own. All the dogs were adopted, but these pups didn’t have to say goodbye forever.

That’s because every year all the owners reunite for a massive birthday party, and the dogs absolutely love it!
“The dogs all seem to remember each other! Whenever one joins the pack, there’s no reacquainting, they just jump right into playing together,” says Chloe Dykstra. She adopted one of the dogs, Laika, and posted the recent birthday bash online. “I can’t even tell you how wonderful these parties are. It’s just a very special, very unlikely thing that I’m so lucky to be a part of.”
