After Being Left Behind By Family at Abandoned Home, a Dog Gets a New Lease on Life

Share

After a family sold their home, they left their small dog behind to fend for herself.

Initially, the pup was being fed by a real-estate agent but after a few weeks, he decided to reach out to Hope For Paws, a Los Angeles-based animal rescue organization.

The crew made their way to the home and found the dog cowered in a corner. Scared, the video shows the dog runing away – and only comes around after being tempted by food. With the organization’s “lucky leash” the team is able to coax the dog (now named Madison) to their vehicle. Once inside, they take her to the vet to get cleaned up and medical treatment for fleas and other ailments.
