Dog-friendly brewery Golden Road just stepped up its love for dogs with happy hour specials for both people and their pups to benefit local rescues.
Known as “Puppy Hour,” pet parents can kick back and enjoy a number of food and drink deals from 3 to 6 pm, Monday through Thursday at its Atwater Village location.

If you are feeling thirsty, sip on the brewery’s signature SPCA-OC, a dry-hopped pale made specifically for the Orange County SPCA. For each one sold, $1 will go towards the organization.
For those who want some nibbles, they can enjoy 50 percent off select appetizers including garlic parmesan fries, pretzel mac, chips and guacamole and fried avocado tacos.
And don’t think Golden Road forgot about our four-legged friend. The brewery has a $5 puppy chow, a human-grade dish made of ground unseasoned turkey, brown rice, green peas, cooked spinach and carrots. A dollar from each sale will go towards the Los Angeles Responsible Pit Bull Owners.
There will also be an adoptable dog from rescue group Wags & Walks featured every month.

All this dog goodness is par for the course for Golden Road, as the owners have always allowed pups to be part of the brewery experience.
“We’re proud of being a brewery that people can come with their four-legged friends and enjoy a Golden Road beer and some great food,” says a spokesperson from Golden Road, adding, “Golden Road Brewery is all about the active Southern California lifestyle, we think that should be able to include your dog!”
To head over there, the address is 5410 W San Fernando Rd. Los Angeles, CA 90039
