While it has been two years since Ethan Ferrier’s beloved black cocker/springer spaniel was stolen from the family farm in Malden Rushett, Surrey, the four-year-old boy is still holding out hope the two will be reunited.
After learning how to write in school, Ferrier decided to pen a letter to the dognapper, begging for the pup’s return.

The family believes the dog was stolen for breeding purposes, according to The Telegraph. The spaniel breeds have become extremely popular ever since Prince William and Kate debuted their dog Lupo, a cocker spaniel, in February of 2013. Two months later, the Ferrier’s dog was taken from their farm.
