Join This Dog’s Life, along with dog-food business PetPlate and treat company maison de pawZ for a dog-friendly yappy hour on Aug. 26 from 6 to 8 pm.

PetPlate

PetPlate

Hosted at LIC Beer Project in Queens, N.Y. pet parents will get to enjoy a number of delicious beers from its brewery, including a light, lemony Berliner Weisse, a hoppy IPA and a balanced American pale ale, among others. Part of the proceeds from beer purchases will go towards animal rescue organization Mr. Bones & Co., which will be on hand with some dogs looking for forever homes.

While like-minded animal lovers are enjoying a cold one (or two!), dogs can test out samples of PetPlate, a local company delivering homemade, human-grade dog food to New Yorkers and enjoy some treats from maison de pawZ, a New York City-based all-natural biscuit business.
