John Stamos Wants You to Find the Next Love of Your Life in a Shelter

John Stamos wants you to have a Full House…of adopted pets

The actor, best known for his role as Uncle Jesse in the ’90s sitcom, is in a new PETA ad campaign advocating for pet adoption.

Shown next to a dog that resembles his own pup named Lilo, Stamos wants people to turn to their local rescue organization for their four-legged friend.

“I couldn’t ask for more devoted companions than my dogs Lilo and Frieda, who are always ready to play, snuggle, and keep my spirits up,” says Stamos. “PETA and I encourage people to find the love of their lives at their local animal shelter.”

The ad is part of PETA’s campaign “Adoption Is Love.”

Besides Lilo, Stamos has another rescue dog named Frieda. In the last year, he had to say goodbye to his third one, Linka, writing on Instagram, “She was always there, especially in the dark times. Never judging. By my side. Only loyal. #rip Linka”
