Having a dog isn’t cheap. Between the vet bills, food and accessories, things start to add up. Fortunately, we have a fire sale for you.
This coming Saturday on Oct. 10 Downtown Doghouse and Barking Zoo in Chelsea are holding their third-annual block party. Downtown Doghouse, known for spoofing up Westminster dogs, will be slashing prices on a number of products. Certain collars will be $5, harnesses $8 and leashes are $5. If you buy a harness/leash or collar/leash combo, the price goes down even further. A selection of coats and sweaters will be $10 and some carriers will be priced at $15. Brands include Puppia, Chilly Dog, Unnecessary Essentials, Trish Hampton and many more. For Barking Zoo’s selection of sales items – cotton sweaters, collars, leashes and bowls, among other items — nothing will be over $20. Besides scooping up products way below wholesale prices, the event will have other activities to get the community involved.
