For those thinking their dog needs to pull his weight, Busch Beer is willing to pay your pup $20,000 for its new position, Chief Tasting Officer, or CTO.
The St, Louis, Missouri-based company is seeking a “canine-didate” to be part of the expansion of Busch Dog Brew, a pup-friendly brew made from bone broth.

To find the perfect dog to fill the role, the team created a recruitment video with the Busch Guy so prospective applicants have a clear understanding of the position.
While comic in nature, the company wants dogs to understand the role is very serious. “In order to get the job, your pup needs to possess a refined palate, an outstanding sense of smell, and must be a ‘very good’ boy or girl,” the company states.
This new role follows last year’s launch of Busch Dog Brew, which sold out in one day. Because of the positive response, the company decided to expand its senior team and needed a tasting office.

Responsibilities include overseeing the company’s flavor portfolio, being an ambassador, and of course tasting the Dog Brew to ensure it is up to fluff. Perks include a yearly salary of $20,000 bones, health insurance (aka pet insurance) and product, of course.
