With Oktoberfest just beginning, there is no better time to have a “Barktoberfest” to benefit a local shelter.
Tonight, animal welfare organization Bideawee is holding a “yappy hour” at the Andaz Wall Street Biergarten at 75 Wall Street. People and canine sidekicks that stop by will be able to mingle with other dog enthusiasts, see adoptable pups and able to order drinks and small plates from the bar, all while enjoying the fall weather.

While the event is free, there is a suggested donation of $10. You can purchase tickets here or at the door. All proceed will go to the organization.
