After Waiting 5 Years to Get Adopted, This Pit Bull Finally Found His Forever Home

Born at the North Fork Animal Welfare League shelter in Southold, New York, a pit bull named Chester had waited for 5 years to find his forever home. On Wednesday, the animal organization decided to get a little creative and uploaded this photo, hoping someone would step forward and adopt little Chester.

It worked! After the photo went viral on Facebook (with thousands of shares), a family came forward and will be taking Chester home.
