Adoptapalooza Is Heading to Long Island City This Sunday

Looking for a four-legged friend to snuggle with during the cooler seasons?

Well, then head over to Long Island City for Adoptapalooza on Oct 11. Put on by the Mayor’s Alliance for NYC’s Animals, the mega-adoption event will have more than 150 dogs, puppies and cats available from many partner organizations. Some participants include the ASPCA, Animal Care Centers of NYC, Mr. Bones & Co, Posh Pets Rescue and Bully Project, among others.

Occurring from noon to 5:00 pm at Koeppel Subaru dealership, the event will not only have many adorable pets needing a forever home but also educational and fun services including emergency preparation when you have a pet, face painting and a photo booth. Attendees can also purchase pet ID tags.

The exact location of the adoption event is at 42-01 Northern Boulevard, Long Island City, New York. For more information, head over to the Mayor’s Alliance.
