Chris Evans is playing with a dog in a living room while participating in the 22-Pushup Challenge.

When actor Chris Evans uploaded a video of him taking the 22-Pushup Challenge on Monday for veterans, his dog made the post all the sweeter.

Evans was nominated by actor John Krasinski to partake in the challenge, which ” honor those who serve and to raise awareness for veteran suicide prevention through education and empowerment,” according to 22kill.com, the platform pushing the movement. The number 22 comes from the fact that on average 22 veterans commit suicide every day. The goal is to get to 22 million pushups.

The video, posted on Twitter, begins with Evans discussing the challenge and the fact he is doing this to raise awareness for veteran suicide prevention and those struggling with PTSD. He then says, “I am going to bang these out real quick.” His dog Dodger had another plan in mind.

When Evans hits the ground and starts doing the pushups, his pup thinks it is play time. Initially the actor pushes the pup away, but then surrenders to the non-stop kisses from Dodger. Despite all the puppy love, Evans completes the challenges and goes on to nominate actors Jeremy Renner and Anthony Mackie.
