Yikes! A Surfing Dog Rides Wave With Shark

Share
A surfing dog is riding a wave in the ocean.

A dog-surfing pup had a close encounter with what appears to be a shark this past weekend.

Sugar the Surfing Dog was hitting the waves at Huntington Beach this past Sunday for a photo shoot, when a very large dark shadow below the surface is seen next to her.

“Surfing with the big fishes today,” was posted on the dog’s Instagram account.

It seems the shark was the same one that caused Huntington Beach lifeguards to close down the beach for 24 hours. Staff had reported a shark sighting, noting the fish didn’t seem to be aggressive but needed to take precautions.

Definitely a lose call for this dog surfer.
