Been thinking of welcoming a four-legged friend into your home? Well, no time better than the present.
Starting Friday, Best Friends Animal Society, a Utah-based animal welfare organization, will be holding its super adoption event at The Altman Building in Manhattan and will have 600 animals up for adoption.
More than 30 rescues – including Second Chance Rescue, Bully Project, Empty Cages Collective and Staten Island Hope Animal Rescue – will be participating, meaning there is a perfect pet for everyone.

Adoptions will start at $25 and all pets come spayed or neutered and vaccinated. Plus, adopters will receive a goody bag they can take home with their new addition.
“Any New Yorker who is looking to adopt should check out our Super Adoption. From playful pups and cute kittens to super sweet seniors, it’s the perfect venue to find your new best friend,” said Eric Rayvid, public relations director, Best Friends Animal Society. “You can even bring your dog along to meet potential canine siblings at the event.”
Besides a ton of cats and dogs making an appearance, animal-loving celebrities will be hand to lend their support.
The event hours are Friday, 4 to 8 pm and Saturday and Sunday, 11 am to 7 pm. The address is 135 W 18th St, 10011.
