Therapy Dog and Rat Have Quite the Special Friendship

We have all seen odd animal friendships. YouTubers mash up videos of unlikely pairings that make our hearts melt, social media is full of cute duos and Google made a whole commercial highlighting these relationships. But this friendship may take the cake.

Meet 3-year-old therapy dog Dutch Shepard and his sidekick Riff Rat. That’s right. Those scary little animals that crawl around on the subway tracks, jump out of garbage bags and can be heard squeaking next to your feet can actually be kind of adorable. The duo has struck up quite the friendship and their owners captured their love for each other on Instagram.
